Especially if you are into Japanese Anime and Manga, you will love the chaotic shopping mall “Nakano Broadway”. It's a paradise for fans of Japanese pop culture, filled with shops selling anime, manga, rare collectibles, and vintage goods.
If you stroll around the north exit of Nakano station, you will see many Ramen shops and Izakaya. Foods are cheaper and qualities are better than Shinjuku Kabuki-cho. Many unique festivals are held at Shikino Mori Park and Nakano Central Park on almost every weekends and offers you an extraordinary and enjoyable experience.

Nakano 5-chome area, with its narrow alleys filled with akachochin (red lanterns) and cozy izakayas, offers a nostalgic and authentic Tokyo experience. FestivalsShikino Mori Park・四季の森公園
Shikino Mori Park is located 5min walk from Nakano station north exit. Together with Nakano Central Park that lies next to it, it is a place that locals gather with their family and friends during weekends to enjoy the seasonal festivals and events. Such as cosplay civil fun marathon in early spring, Fula dancing festival in summer and many gourmet festival in autumn (sweet potato, lamb meet and vegetable market).
Traditional Performance NohUmewaka・能 梅若会
Umewaka Noh Theater is located at Higashi Nakano station. Noh is the oldest Japanese Art Performance. We offer exclusive tour for Noh beginners with basic lecture of Noh and short performance. Special examination of the uniforms and masks are also available.
